"For me, art is all about discovery; new ideas, new mediums, new techniques...I try to keep my mind open to all the 'happy accidents' that can occur during the creative process. Its what keeps it all so exciting and so very addictive!"

This ability to create intuitively, with minimal preconceptions about what a finished piece "should" look like, keeps Vivianne's works fresh and evolving. At times containing objects which project from, or are embedded into, the base surface, the line between 2d and 3D art blurs in many of her works.

Whether working in a more sculptural manner on board or painting on canvas, Viviannes works contain an amazing sense of depth and texture, real or implied. Be it in the rounded curves of a belly dancer, the rich textures of colours, sensual curves, and a sense of the mysterious.

Exhibitions include; Manly Art Gallery and Museum, Art Focus Gallery, Lavender Bay Gallery, Glen Street Gallery, Ethel St Gallery, CasulaPowerhouse and the Griffith and Orange Regional Galleries. Her works have been included in the Warringah Art Exhibition and purchased for the Arts North Permanent Collection. Vivianne has attained her Fine Art Diploma, several Design Certificates and a Certificate IV in Craft and Visual Art Practice Business Skills.

Offering art classes and private tuition for adults, Vivianne is passionate about coaxing out the inner artist within each of her students. Sharing an abundance of ideas, and with her ability to work in a variety of styles and mediums, she guides students to create with confidence... and to revel in the process along the way!
